The term 'keno' comes from French word, 'quine' (pronounced 'keen'), meaning 'five winning numbers.' Keno is the game to test your lucky numbers. Birth dates, anniversaries, ages, addresses, license plates, telephone numbers, time of day, room numbers, car mileage, flight numbers, sports stars, great historical dates..the possibilities are as endless as they are fun.
On any Keno game you can pick from 1 to 20 numbers and mark them on a keno ticket of 80 numbers (see below).
The player then takes the card to a keno writer and places a bet that the numbers selected will be among the 20 drawn in the next game.
These prizes total of more than $1.1 million, and there are currently two winning Match 4 tickets worth $10,000 each that are slated to expire this month. The first Match 4 ticket was purchased at Alderton Chevron in Puyallup (9508 SR 162), drawn on Dec. 16, 2019 and it expires June 13. The second was purchased at Westfield Southcenter Mall in Seattle (2800 Southcenter Mall), drawn. After the 20 numbers are draw at random, winning tickets are paid according to a table that varies from casino to casino.

The player is paid out against his original wager based on how many numbers match the ones he marked on his ticket. The soon-to-expire ticket was purchased at Rich’s Country Store, 6237 Bishop Road, in Lansing, for the February 5, 1999 Big Game drawing. This ticket matched the first five winning numbers in that night’s Big Game drawing: 02, 08, 14, 21, 27 and big money ball number 33.
Time is quickly running out for the lucky individual holding this ticket! Michigan Lottery on-line prizes are valid for a period of one year from the draw date. Since the one-year anniversary of the February 5, 1999 draw date falls on a Saturday, when Lottery offices are closed, the winner will have until the close of business, Monday, February 7, to claim his or her prize.
'I am urging each and every Lottery player who purchased a ticket at Rich’s Country Store in Lansing to take a couple minutes this weekend to check their old Big Game tickets,' said Michigan Lottery Commissioner Don Gilmer. If Michigan Lottery prizes are not claimed within the one-year period, they revert to the state School Aid Fund. In the case of a Big Game prize, in which all Big Game states have contributed to funding the prize, Michigan’s allotted share of the prize money will be transferred to the School Aid Fund.
